Turdus Musicus

No band from Northern Norway has worked or toured harder than Turdus Musicus. The reigning Kings of Tromsø Hardcore has played on some of the most inhospitable and inaccessible concert venues in the world, from huge festivals in China, through sweaty club scenes in Japan and the United States, to airy cellars in deepest Russia, they have fiercely and produdly carried Tromsø's hardcore banner. Widely known and recognises for their intense live shows, Turdus Musicus has built up a solid fan base around the world. Today they are one of the most important sources of inspiration for local hardcore punks and are considered as godfathers in the local hardcore scene. Since the early 2000s, they have released 3 albums and a bunch of EPs, and stand as one of the most genre defining and influential bands in Northern Norwegian rock. Few bands has been so groundbreaking and important for the local growth conditions for a single genre as Turdus Musicus.
